Stéphane Masson, engineer specializing in pocket-sized software
I've been working for almost 15 years in embedded systems, communicating objects and now mobile applications. A technology enthusiast and entrepreneur, I began my career at microelectronics (STM) where I worked on new communication protocols, participating in the creation of the first Wifi cards, and home gateway/set top box as well as the first IPv6 deployments. Then I participated in the standardization of protocols such as MIPI UniPro (now in Google Ara phones). I then took the mobile turn by integrating Inside Secure's NFC component for major cell phone manufacturers.
Today, through Picodev, I advise on the architecture of objects, in particular their means of communication with the outside world, and the impact of these choices on the software architecture. I'm involved from the object's firmware, through the mobile application, right up to the API servers.
